About the Project
A typographic poster based on lyrics by fallen soldier Erez Shtark, killed in the 1997 Israeli helicopter disaster. His words were later set to music by the band Knesiyat Hasechel.
The Challenge
To express the grief and remembrance in the lyrics using typography alone, without imagery.
The Solution
Designed in the style of a memorial notice, using classic obituary type and black tones to let the lyrics convey the emotion.
Created as a student project. Not intended for commercial use.
